Contributions on all the areas of Artificial Life and Evolutionary Computation are accepted, included (but not limited to):

  • Evolutionary Computation
  • Genetic algorithms
  • Modeling and simulation of Artificial and Biological Systems
  • Modeling and simulation of Social and Economical Systems
  • Synthetic and systems biology
  • Systems chemistry
  • Theories and Applicatons of Artificial Life
 
Submission
Three possible contributions are accepted: 
  • Full length article (English, max 8 pages, long oral presentation)
  • Long abstract (English, max 3 pages, short oral presentation)
  • Poster (English or Italian)
For the accepted full length articles and long abstracts an oral presentation (in English) is expected. The length of the presentation will be communicated by the scientific organization. 

Articles and abstracts must be written in Latex in accordance with the format and style file that can be downloaded at the bottom of the page. Further information regarding the style can be found here http://style.eptcs.org/.
Abstract can be written in MS Word as well, in accordance with the format and style file that can be downloaded at the bottom of the page. 

The contributions can be submitted by means of an online procedure at this page. 

Workshop proceedings
The workshop proceedings will be published as Electronic Proceedings in Theoretical Computer Science, EPTCS. 
 
Important dates
Deadline for the submission of papers and posters: 10th of May, 2013
Decision on acceptance: 31st of May, 2013 3rd of June, 2013
Deadline for the final submission of the accepted works: 21st of June, 2013
Workshop: 1st-2nd of July, 2013
